Life Membership

Special status for long-standing members (usually 30+ years in good standing and age 65+) who want to maintain membership for life.
- Requirements:
- To qualify for Life Membership, an applicant must:
- Have been a member of the NDA for at least 30 years (proof required).
- Be an active member in good standing at the time of application.
- Be at least 65 years old.
- Be in good standing with their component/constituent society.
- Submit a completed Life Member Application.
- Provide two letters of recommendation.
- Submit a curriculum vitae or resume.
- Include an 8”x10” color photograph.
- Answer the question: “What does the NDA mean to you?” on the application.
If needed, an active member may pay back dues for up to 5 years to fill any gaps in the required 30 years of membership.
These criteria are required to confer Life Membership status, which allows a member to remain part of the NDA for the remainder of their life.
