National Dental Association Partners with Remote Area Medical to Bring Free Healthcare Clinic to Miami Gardens

Miami Gardens, Fla. — The National Dental Association (NDA), in partnership with Remote Area Medical, is proud to support a free, comprehensive healthcare clinic taking place April 25–26, 2026, at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreation Complex.
This collaborative effort reflects the NDA’s ongoing commitment to advancing oral health equity and expanding access to care in underserved communities. Through its strategic partnership with RAM, the NDA helps mobilize dental professionals, resources, and community outreach to deliver critical services directly to those most in need.
The Miami Gardens clinic will provide free dental, vision, and medical services to individuals and families who face barriers to care due to cost, lack of insurance, or geographic limitations. Services will include dental cleanings, extractions, fillings, eye exams, and prescription glasses, all delivered on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The National Dental Association proudly supports the Remote Area Medical (RAM) clinic in Miami Gardens, alongside the Miami Dolphins and community partners,” said Dr. Wallace Bellamy, President of the National Dental Association.
“These clinics deliver compassionate and critical care and reflect the very best of service. But they also underscore a hard truth—that access to dental care in America remains inconsistent and far too often out of reach.
The NDA believes oral health is essential health. Patients deserve more than temporary solutions. They deserve a reliable, baseline level of dental care and coverage they can count on. We will continue to advocate for policies that move us from charity to certainty.

This initiative is made possible through collaboration with community partners including the City of Miami Gardens, Councilwoman Katrina Baskin, the Golden Foundation, the Miami-Dade County Dental Society, and the Miami Dolphins Foundation. The National Dental Association is proud to recognize the Miami Dolphins Foundation for its generous sponsorship and ongoing commitment to improving community health and wellness. Their support helps expand access to critical care services and strengthens the collective impact of this clinic for underserved individuals and families across Miami-Dade County.
Founded in 1913, the National Dental Association is the nation’s largest organization of minority oral health professionals and has long been dedicated to improving access to dental care and reducing health disparities. Through its collaboration with Remote Area Medical, the organizations are working together to expand mobile clinics and strengthen community-based care delivery.
The clinic is open to the public, and no insurance or identification is required. Parking will open no later than 4:00 a.m. each day, with services beginning at 6:00 a.m. Due to high demand and limited capacity, patients are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. Services will be offered until capacity is reached.
Saturday’s clinic will offer full services, while Sunday will operate on an abbreviated schedule, with patients advised to choose between dental and vision services due to time constraints.
