Westat is seeking a part-time (approximately 30 days annually) consultant to be the Gold Standard Dental Examiner (GSDE) for the National Health and Nutrition Survey (NHANES) sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The GSDE will perform gold standard examinations for quality assurance purposes; train examiners on exam protocol; and work with staff to insure the highest quality data are collected. Consultants must be available for part-time travel, including up to eight trips annually. DDS or DMD required with active license in any of the 50 states or DC. Candidates must have more than 5 years of experience as a dentist working in medical or dental facility and experience in training health professionals.
